If funky-folk had a romantic fling with jazzy-soul, NICO would be the musical love child. He has been writing, performing, and recording since puberty and playing all kinds of venues from the streets of Europe, festivals, pubs, universities, and everything in between. After playing and recording all around the US of A with a band, he relocated back to Kelowna, BC (Canada) and loves to combine his original music with smooth old tunes from the 70s that will make you want to shake what yer mama gave ya.

What is a SONG & RANTS house concert?
Well, this is truly a co-created event but here’s what it could look like:
2 sets of music, stories, and conversation about 45 minutes each. Depending on the vibe, we could have mostly (or all) music… I have a pile of tunes (both originals and covers) and love weaving stories throughout the evening. If it works, we could also choose a theme and have some interactive conversation around a particular topic with some thought-provoking questions. For example, topics like hope, or love, or relationships, or WTF is the meaning of life.
If you’re a coach (like me) with some ideas about how to engage people and want to co-create this time together we can plan that beforehand.
What dates are you available to play?
I’ll be travelling back and forth from Kelowna, BC to Sonoma, California for a CTI leadership program several times in 2024 and looking for hosts living on the west coast in Washington, Oregon, and California who would be willing to host a house concert in your home. Here are the dates I’m looking to play in 2024:

How much does it cost?
This really works well when we work together to create an amazing experience for you and your friends (or whoever you invite). We can have either public or private online ticket sales available that I can setup. We can then work out a shared split of the revenue or, ideally, you’re able to simply have your costs covered for snacks and whatever.
Tickets can range from $10-$25 depending on how many people you think you could rally… or we can go by donation.
Wait, does this have to be open to the public?
Nope. This can absolutely be a private, invite-only event. I get that this is your home... but this could even be a fun event for a staff gathering (if you own a company) or a sweet little get-together with your friends. A BYOB situation where we listen, laugh, cry, share, drink, inspire, but most importantly connect.
How does promo work?
Well, it can be as simple as you’d like. It could mean you shooting out an email to your friends or you can make a private Facebook event… or I can create an online event page where people can signup and purchase tickets.
Since I am rolling through your area, I’d be leaning on you to help spread the word to your community.
What about accommodation?
I am travelling up and down the coast in my vehicle with a rooftop tent. Now, if you wanted to provide a parking space or a bed for me that would rule but it’s not necessary. I’m self-sufficient.
What about a sound system?
I can provide my own sound gear if it’s necessary… but if it’s in a small living room, we may be able to just go acoustic. If you have a piano I would LOVE to play that as well.
How do I see if this is a good fit and start the conversation?
