New tune "Would You" | Nico Boesten, CPCC

Nothing like breaking your back and a breakup to spawn a new tune… alas, I give you “Would You”.

I was inspired by several conversations and a documentary called “E-motion” that some buddies (thanks Eric Vivian & Lara Yanik) shared with me. It’s part prayer, part intention, but most importantly brutally honest… which is why I thought I’d record this in my bathroom. It’s lyrically pretty raw and represents the state of my heart after a breakup and literally breaking my friggin’ back. It’s coming from a place of wanting to heal all of my inner stuff that continues to show up in my life… especially this little thing called loneliness… which is strange / ironic because I have the most amazing friends & community…

Today, my friend, may you find hope… may the invitation towards hope call you graciously… without judgement… and may you have the courage to move towards it… even if it’s just turning your head towards it.
