You know when a song just grabs you by the heart and carries you off to a new planet? Same. This tune “Shine Through” by GOLDFORD absolutely slayed me… not only for his musical & production awesomesauce but the lyrics (especially the chorus) are so friggin’ true.
A few weeks ago I had a coaching client who happened to accidentally quote one of the lines, “If I could only get out of my own way…” and how many times have I heard that and felt that about myself. So last week I decided to learn it and here it is for your musical pleasure. I love singing songs that feel true and honest… this is one that ticks all of the boxes and hopefully you can hear a melody of hope for your heart and soul in here.
